The one with the door knockers

Two weeks ago, I blogged about a visit to Utrecht. On our walk through the city, we came across some wonderful looking door knockers. I love beautiful doors! Like to see more? I have a whole pinboard filled with beautiful doors of here.

  3. Wow! You found all of these knockers on your visit? Were they all in the same neighborhood, I wonder? Our door knocker fell off a couple of years ago, and we haven't replaced it yet.

  7. It's interesting how most of them are lions (are they lions? Something like that). I wonder if there is significance to that. It's a cool collection of photos--I see it growing!

  13. I love this collection of photos! I'm going to have to remember to keep an eye out for an interesting door knocker for our next house! The first thing I noticed about them was the expression on the lion's face. Some look so sad!
