The one with the fancy pants DIY

One of my favourite websites is Jak & Jil, and that's where the inspiration for this easy DIY projects comes from. I often wear rolled up trousers (I am not that tall). I loved the idea of giving my old jeans a bit of va-va-voom. I got the trimming from Atelier Lunathanks Eefje!

What you'll need:
  • trimming
  • scissors
  • clear nailpolish
  • hobby glue, I used E6000
  • a pair of jeans

Cut the trimming the right size so it fits the back part of the trouser leg.
Keep it from running with the help of clear nailpolish.

turn your trousers inside out and apply the trimming with glue

Let the glue dry

And they're ready to wear!

  1. What a cute idea, Marieken!
I have to try this next time instead of shortening my jeans, as I normally do :)

  6. That is really interesting. I'm not sure if I'm bold for that style but I do like the gold trimming.

  7. Cute! My pants never have extra length on them because I'm so tall, but I bet I could do this around the outside of the hem and it would look just as cool. Thanks for sharing!

  14. E6000 should stay on in the washing machine. I washed it one time now, and the trimming is still there :-)
