I can not believe this is post number 100! Since starting out last january, my camera is coming with me (almost) everywhere (before, it spent most of it's time at home). Sometimes I feel people are staring at me, thinking 'why is she taking a picture of THAT?'. I like documenting things as they will remind me of things that happened in the past.
Mostly, I would like to fill my blog with pictures, without any writing accompanying them, afraid of making mistakes. I am very insecure about my writing skills and I'm hoping that practice makes perfect (or at least less imperfect). I've reread this post about twenty times, hoping no big mistakes are being made.
I feel honoured and thankful that pretty amazing and creative people visit my blog and take the time to leave a comment. A smile appears when a message in my inbox pops up, telling me that someone posted a comment.
To celebrate The One Hundredth, I am having a little giveaway: a set consisting of a bonjour notebook, a mini Karl Lagerfeld brooch, a moustache card and a hello card. All you need to do is to comment on this post. The giveaway will run through the 15th and the winner will be announced here on the blog, the friday after.
Congrats with post no. 100!!
ReplyDeleteWell done on your 100th post! Love the Lagerfeld brooch :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100th post! I have the same insecurities... I am still shy about taking pictures in public (but slowly getting better!) and I reread things so many times to try to find any errors! I think you're doing a great job!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100th post! I enjoy stopping by your blog and seeing your fun photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway too!
I always figure people thinks I'm weird when I have my camera out! A woman in my apartment building called over one of the maintenance guys as 'security' once because she thought I was a sketchy person! Congrats on 100 posts.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I get looks all the time when I'm taking photos. Frequently, people will stop and just watch me, which is a little awkward. I do think it's kind of nice, though, when someone is walking down the street, and they stop to look at what I'm taking a photo of, and then they say "Oh yeah, that's cool. Hey look at this!" to their friend. I guess I feel like I'm sort of leading by example for people to stop and notice beauty all around them, instead of just rushing down the street to work or whatever. :)
I'm new to your blog (and to blogging, for that matter). Very impressed to see you at 100!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100th post! Isn't blogging fun?!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you with the camera.
Congratulations on reaching your 100th post :) I've found blogging such a journey too, but I figure the only way you can learn is to do! xx

Congrats on 100 posts! That is so awesome. Can't wait to read 100 more :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100th post! I'm with you all on the camera thing. I hate to admit that I've missed a few good opportunities with being too shy to look strange in public!
ReplyDeletePS I don't think I've ever noticed any mistakes or errors in your posts!
