Lunch and a walk in Amsterdam with friend H. We hadn't seen eachother for a long time, so lots of catching up to do. I loved the trainride to Amsterdam, so I had some time to get some reading done.
A happy mailbox and a hungry me! Thanks Diane :-)
Seeing this car on my way to the mailbox. I think it gets rustier each time we meet
I managed to get one of the plants killed I got a couple of weeks ago. Poor thing. My neighbours do have green thumbs though, and I can enjoy the goodies that are on their balcony, like this one.
Made me smile, never knew that's what they were supposed to look like!
Enjoy your sunday! I'll have breakfast somewhere good, and the plan is to visit our local museum. What are your plans for today?
Are those really avocados? :D And I've only been to Amsterdam once but I really really really wanna come back!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Amsterdam photo! That rusty old car is full of character. Maybe your neighbors can teach you to develop a green thumb. :) I have never seen avocados like those. We have big green skin ones from Florida and little Haas ones that have a very dark skin that is almost black. Both are delicious!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful time in Amsterdam! Love the picture! Funny avocados haha :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Love the old VW Beetle :)
ReplyDeleteI love Amsterdam. It's one of my favorite cities I've ever visited. Love the rusty Beetle picture too!
ReplyDeleteLove Amsterdam.. just a great walking city.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like rust is the only thing holding that car together! And, if those are avocados, they grow very differently in your part of the world than in mine!!
ReplyDeleteWe both have fascination with old beetle cards :) In my country, the "volks" was once a very popular car here. As my Dad said, it used to be a dream car for everyone.
ReplyDeletePS Please don't feel annoyed if one day, I sent you a similar postcard. Hahaha My memory is not serving me right these days haha
ReplyDeletesame here:-)
DeleteI LOVE that car:) Have a great day, sweetie.
