The one with the things I liked this week (94)

True!

Seen on an evening walk

This one too

Came across this work of street-art ;-) whilst running some work errands

How about some pretty tiles?

Cake at a friends birthday. The caked was made by one of his co-workers, who participated in a tv show that was in search of Hollands Best Baker, he ended up very high! So you might be able to imagine how this tasted.

Accidental selfie

This building is next to our brick and mortar shop, I love the Holy Mary statue

These were some of the things I liked this week! How has your week been so far? Hope you had a good one. Have a great weekend, cheers!

The one with the old factory

Woke up way early yesterday and received a message from M, if I wanted to go thrift shopping. The washing machine was already doing it's thing, so with the mandatory sunday housekeeping being taken care of (I'm not a very ambitious housewife on sundays...), I thought I deserved a bit of fun. Each weekend there's a flea market in an old factory nearby. In the third photo you can see the church that also can be seen from my kitchen window. The factory stopped being a factory (it used to make wheat starch, for soups) two years ago and serves lots of purposes now. A 'mixture of commercial, creative and cultural tennants' (according to the website, only in Dutch), now inhabit the factory.
The flea market was a bit of a let down. Items for sale were way overprized or in bad shape. The building itself made up for the thrifting disaster. Even though it was raining, I dodged most of the raindrops and managed to take some photos (I will definitely go back again if the sun decides to show it's face again)(hopefully some time soon!).

We had coffee with apple crumble and on the way back to the car we accidentally ended up at an exhibition about archeology somewhere in the building. I love not making any special plans and seeing where the weekend takes me. How were your saturday and sunday? Do you like planning ahead? If you feel like sharing, I'd love to read about your weekend-adventures in the comments below!
