The one with the greens

Last saturday was my day off, and I needed to get some things done on the other side of our City's centre. I decided to take the scenic route through the park back home, and was amazed by how stunning it looks at this time of the year. Below I am sharing some of the photos taken (with my phone, no filters added), hope they bring you some joy on this monday!

The one with the things I liked about may

June is already a week old, but I wanted to share some pictures of things I liked in may.

Walking to a friday dinner

Having pancakes for dinner at my favourite pancake-place. I love that one of the walls is covered with old baking tins.

Enjoying a sunday stroll

Even though summer has yet to begin, we already went Christmas shopping for items for our brick and mortar store

A surprise guest in our shop

Seen on a saturday

Although it's windy, rainy and cold, we had some nice warm days!

Seen on an afterwork walk

Been to the ballet with my mom, and we saw this on our way back

The one at 'de Honig fabriek'

The first weekend of april my friend R. came over for a visit. She lives in the northern part of the Netherlands. It's about 2,5 hours away, so we don't see eachother very often. That day, it was a beautiful and sunny spring day, so we had a little walk. Destination: 'de Honig fabriek'. It's an old factory that made soups, but nowadays it serves as a cultural hotspot, with restaurants, a brewery, an art gallery and it houses lots of artists and small companies. In case you like to see more about this place, I blogged about it before over here. Today I'm sharing some street art over at the factory, and some that we spotted on our way there.

The one with an after work walk

A couple of weeks ago I decided to take a different route home from work. These are some of the things I found on my walk. It still amazes me how many wonderful spots my hometown has!

The one with the Big Draw 2015

A couple of weeks ago the second edition of the Big Draw took place in my hometown. It's an annual event taking place worldwide. It's an initiative by the Campaign for Drawing, and the first edition was in London. The whole town is asked to draw, and across town many works of art could be seen. In this (picture heavy) post, some of them can be enjoyed. Hope you like them as much as I did!

Do you have a favourite? I love the Fuuki Bunnies, they can often be seen across town, all year round. My friend Eefje from Atelier Luna was lucky and got her shop window 'Fuukied'. In case you can't get enough of the Big Draw, here and here are my posts of last years' edition.

The one with the things I liked this week (125)

Enjoying good food in good company, with R, L + J

Sunday walk

Same bridge, from a different point of view.

Taken from the same place (an old watchtower)

 This sunny sky

Receiving a box full of supplies, like these new, colourful totebags

Those bags have been printed now, and will be taken along to my second market tomorrow! I will be attending the SwanMarket in Tilburg on sunday (from 12.00 - 18.00, Spoorzone).
It's only my second market, so there's still a lot to learn when it comes to making a stall appealing for shoppers, and work easier for myself. Kerry told me to make a little kit, filled with things that might come in handy, like scissors, rope and pens. Last time I did take them, but tossed these items in between the things I wanted to sell. Tomorrow I will take a small bag, with all of those items together. I think this may be a big improvement, not having to go to everything, to get things found! The brilliant idea of making a sign with all the prices listed together, came from Paige. I've made one of those signs in addition to the individual pricetags.

The people from DaWanda asked me if I wanted to be their 'ambassador' at the market and send over this pretty looking box all the way from Berlin, filled with promotional things like a banner and their summer lookbooks. Everything is packed and I am ready to get some relaxing done for the rest of this evening! Hope you had a great start of the weekend, and wish you a sunny sunday!
