The one with the greens

Last saturday I tagged along with mum to the garden centre. I got some lovely lavender and in two weeks I have a 'gardening date' with a friend, to make the balcony summer proof. It has been looking kind of sad after winter. Sorry for the amount of photo's in this post, it became a bit picture heavy....

  1. They're all so pretty! I want to get a few plants for my new studio at some point. I'm thinking succulents or blooming cactus...something that doesn't need much water (as I tend to forget!).

    1. None of these! For now just the lavender. I wanted to wait a bit longer, cause the nights are still cold :-( Oh, and welcome to Instagram!

  6. Nice pics! I've got some lavender on the balcony as well for now. Have to get some lovely flowers soon for our roof terrace. Normally I go to local greenhouses to get my new set of plants. You'll often get good value for the money over there.

    1. I am terrible with plants, but for some reason I seem to be able to keep the lavender alive :-)

  7. Great photos! I especially love the cactus photos, probably because I love green. I never thought to photograph a trip to the nursery, you can sure get some great pictures doing that. Some of your photos would be perfect in using to make backgrounds (my post subject today) for all kind of things!

    1. I take my camera everywhere, I do feel a bit uncomfortable taking photo's sometimes :-)

    2. Do you take your camera or do you use your phone? My new phone takes decent pictures but I still keep my camera with me because I feel like I can get much better photos from it. Sometimes I feel funny too, but I think taking photos of everyday life seems to be a trend and a lot of people are doing it. I think I would have felt funnier several years ago.

    1. Snow sounds terrible, we've only had snow around here for two times. And each time it snowed for less than 15 minutes.
