Last weekend started with cheese. One of the first things I got done on saturday was to get cheese. The first photo appeared on my Instagram as well. Some of the cheeses didn't make it there, because the image needed to be made square. The original photo is in my weekly collection of things I liked, because I feel bad for the eliminated cheeses. Don't worry, not all of them were taken home. My weekend also ended with cheese, I made cheese rolls for dinner on sunday. The recipe will probably end up here on the blog next week.
A while ago I did a little postcard swap with Natasha, and this week I received a lovely Hawaiian card. There were some gorgeous stamps on the back. I wish we had pretty stamps like that over here.
At my mom's I've found a lovely, very vintage-y map, that is now hanging in my living room. Other things I liked, were found on the streets. I've been taking slightly different routes back home from work and taking small walks before dinner. The longer days are definitely one of the things I like most about spring and summer. How was your week?
Those apple stamps on Natasha's card are great! Love the baby Gouda and the factory street art is pretty amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI love finding art on the street!
DeleteI like the vintage map! Nice apple stamps.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a gorgeous vintage, big map in a store, but I'm afraid to look at the price...
DeleteI'm loving these longer and warmer days too! I'm jealous you already have some flowers...we're still waiting!
ReplyDeleteI hope they're worth the wait :-)
DeleteI love the combination of flowers and lights in the tree photo! And you made the apple stamps look so cool! I'm glad you liked them - I had stamps with a greater value each, but they were really boring so I decided to go with the apples.
ReplyDeleteI love the apples! Thank you!
DeleteCute stamps! Love the vintage map. I think I'm eating to much cheese lately...
ReplyDeleteSo do I, had cheese for dinner last night...
DeleteLooks like another great week! The cheese and the apple stamps are making me hungry . . .
ReplyDeleteIt was a good one! I love salads with (goat's) cheese and apples. Maybe this is a sign about what to have for dinner tonight.
DeleteLoving that map :)

I was looking for one for a while, and my mom just had one in her basement. Lucky me!
DeleteStamps!! I suddenly remember those days when I'm obsessed collecting stamps.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to find a variety of cheese in your place. In our country, cheese selections are very limited. Most of the time, those imported cheese are expensive and a few can be tasted in those five star hotels.
Have a great weekend Marieken!
Maybe it would be better for me if cheese wasn't available over here everywhere ;-)
DeleteOne can never go wrong with cheese:D And I want a map like that. Must see if I can find one in the flea market when summer comes.
ReplyDeleteLovely images as usual, Marieken:)
Thanks! Hope you'll find something good at the flea market!
DeleteCheese!! I'm such a fan of cheese especially cheese when it's displayed. It looks so pretty. Is that weird? Probably.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's weird :-)
DeleteI love the apple stamps, and you can't go wrong with a bit of cheese! I agree, the longer days are definitely perking me up too! xx
ReplyDeleteI feel like I can get so much more done in one day!
DeleteSounds like a good week, but better, the good start to the week! I was never that into cheese when I was young but in my adult life, I've become obsessed with it! Love your photo!
ReplyDeleteI've always liked cheese, although I disliked blue cheese when I was a kid.
DeleteOh my goodness, I am totally craving cheese right now. Yum! Have a great day, sweetie.
