Seen this one many times, but never taken the time to photograph this wall

 The hydrangea on my balcony

More from the balcony, my very first raspberry!

And more vitamins

Vintage cars keep popping up, like this one

Have a fun weekend!

The one with the things I liked this week (111)

Took a walk with mom last friday to an old factory, on our way we came across this

And this. More about our 'adventure' next week

Makes me want to bake something

Lots and lots of eggs

Getting supplies for a new DIY-project

 Don't these look lovely?

My hometown's soccer club won their match last friday, and by that, made it back to our countries top division again. Even the church was in on the celebration.

Hope you're having a wonderful Easter, enjoy the rest of the weekend!

The one with the mini vases DIY

A while ago Eva from DaWanda asked me if I would like to make tutorials for the Dutch DaWanda blog. No need to think about it, ofcourse! My first tutorial is up since last week. It's in Dutch and you can find it here. Don't speak Dutch? No prob! Here you'll have the translated version.

What you'll need:
  • small flowers
  • tubes (mine used to hold tiny beads)
  • copper wire (you'll need 60 centimeters for each tube)
  • transparant, quick drying glue

What you'll need to to: remove the tops from the tubes, you will not need to use these.

Decide where the middle of the wire is and hold it with your thumb against the tube, about two third up from the bottom.

Wrap the left half of the wire around the tube five times, and do the same for the right half.

Gather the halves at the back

Wrap the halves around eachother, until there's about 6 centimeters left.

Use another tube to form a hook

Secure the wire with a drop of glue

Fill the tubes with water and the flowers, and you're done!

The one with the things I liked this week (63)

Random photo's from last week, including birthday mail and birthday food. We had Indian food on my b'day, which I love. I like the many choices in vegetarian food and I am a big fan of dishes with cilantro, and the lentil soup the restaurant serves is delicious. This dinner made up for a big part of my birthday blues! Lots of easter goodies were spotted, and chocolate eggs have been eaten this week. The collection of bunnies was found at my favourite flower shop. Other than that, cloudy blue skies and aliens!

One more thing, I came across this video, over at Allisons blog. It's a short documentary about Dave Lefner, who is a Los Angeles linocut artist. I think it's pretty amazing and definitely worth watching.  Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend!

The one with the greens

Last saturday I tagged along with mum to the garden centre. I got some lovely lavender and in two weeks I have a 'gardening date' with a friend, to make the balcony summer proof. It has been looking kind of sad after winter. Sorry for the amount of photo's in this post, it became a bit picture heavy....
