Awesome door, awesome windows
Sometimes you just need to treat yourself (to a new planner)

Knock, knock

Love this new Tony's Chocolonely flavour (banana + walnut)
(Tony's Chocolonely is a Dutch chocolate brand, with a cool mission)
(no idea whether or not it's available outside of the Netherlands)
How was your week? Things are starting to get cold over here, and I am very happy that the only outdoorsy thing I've got planned for the rest of the weekend, is a trip to the library. If you have any book-titles to recommend, I'd love to read them in the comments below. Hope you'll have a great weekend, see you next week (with a new DIY project). Cheers!
It's getting super cold here too...sigh....
ReplyDeletePS I love that red door so much, and I love the window panes surrounding it.
At least you've got some serious knitting skills to get you through winter! Let's hope it'll be a short one...
DeleteHi Marieken! That door really caught my attention!! I love that the unbalanced geometric structure.
ReplyDeleteYes you deserve a new planner. Having a planner will bring you documentation of great memories.
I always feel happy when you showcase your happiness to a piece of stamp. I'm thinking of giving you something from the Philippines. Would that be fine with you?
I'll drop you a line through email Diane!
DeleteGreat door and what a nice stamp and door knocker. Would love to taste that chocolate
ReplyDeleteIt's very tasty, I think one of my favourite Tony flavours. But maybe I need to taste some more to be sure ;-)
DeleteBanana and walnut chocolate?! That sounds pretty amazing--I wonder how they get the banana flavor in there. I need to travel more places so I can sample the chocolates of many lands!
ReplyDeleteThose flavours go really good together, there's also a bar with dark chocolate, orange and rosemary, and another one with chocolate and liquorice. The last one's not really my cup of tea. I like chocolate, and I like liquorice, but not necessarily together.... Travelling to sample chocolates sounds like a perfect holiday plan to me!
DeleteThat chocolate sounds intriguing. I've had banana and chocolate together but never in the form of a candy bar! The door knocker is so neat. How original to actually have it in the shape of a hand! They are usually lions or pineapples and such. That typewriter reminds me of the family one we had growing up.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the lion ones, but never one in the shape of a pineapple. This was the first handshaped one I've met in person, seen a lot of pretty ones on Pinterest.
DeleteThere's just something about red doors...Always mysterious. Always fun!
ReplyDeleteLove that typewriter you snapped a shot of too.
My door is a red one, but not nearly as goodlooking as this one!
DeleteLove the things here! Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda!
DeleteYa I've never seen Tony's here. Looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat door knocker is cool/creepy. Thanks for sharing ;)
Ok books: do you like ghost stories? I really liked "Her Fearful Symmetry" by Audrey Niffenegger. It had a very cool surprise ending!
Not up to much. Our kids are going out with Mr. Hausfrau's parents today so we have a couple of hours to hang out alone!! We might just get some Christmas shopping done...
Just looked the book up at the New York Times book review, sounds like a complicated story! I'll check if they've got it at the library at my next visit :-)
Deleteknock, knock!
ReplyDeleteStill dreaming of a door-knocker with a lions head but this one is really awesome too!
Didn't you felt the tendency to knock?
Yes I did!
Deletethat door knocker and typewriter are AWESOME

Wow, I love the red door and the door knocker :)
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate sounds good too, and wouldn't mind owning that old typewriter!!!
It is 0°C here. I'm reading Anita Moorjani "Dying to be me". Gripping stuff!
We had a few cold morning las week, but it is back to usual t-shirt and shorts! I love December in Florida - if you need to get away from cold - I can recommend Miami! i'm going to Art Bezel 2014 this weekend and I hope to sharing more pictures with you all! Love the chocolate and banana - looks so yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm on the hunt for books too!
ReplyDeleteExcited to catch up on your blogs, I've been out of touch for the past month!
