The travelling fair arrived. I'm not a fan of the rides.....
......but I don't mind the sweet treats that come along with it!
Bye summer, hello autumn! I'll miss strawberries, raspberries and watermelon
Visiting our local museum for a pop art exhibition
Friday was another meeting with the cooking club. I was team risotto (with shrimps, garlic, shallots, limejuice and zest, parmesan, parsley, and crème fraîche)
Fairs are so fun. The candy looks enticing! Rides are rough. I loved them as a kid but now they just make me incredibly dizzy. It is sad seeing the summer foods go away.
ReplyDeleteGosh....that risotto looks so good! And yay for the treats. That's my fave part of fairs too:D
ReplyDeleteI love fairs! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteThere are some great photo ops at fairs, but I don't care much for the rides either, except maybe the Ferris Wheel :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pop art!
Team risotto!! I want to be on that team--that meal looks amazing!
ReplyDeletemm candy. i love seeing what you find every week.. brings a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteLove your first photo! But I agree, I like the sweets more than the rides :)
ReplyDeleteAnd that shrimp dish looks so good!!!
Yummy! That risotto looks delicious:) Kisses, darling.
ReplyDeleteThe fair sounds fun!! Even I don't like the rides, but would be fun to go and explore!!
ReplyDeleteLove all these! That is a great display of bottles at the pop art venue. And that candy...wowza! I'd be all over that too :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not always a fan of rides at carnivals, either! Anything that spins too much makes me sick. I prefer bigger rides like roller coasters. :-D
ReplyDeleteThat risotto looks delicious! I love shrimp and haven't had them in way too long.
ReplyDeleteThe treats at your fair look so yummy, and that pop art exhibit looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteyum risotto en het is kermis geweest zeker. Lekker kaneel stokken. Altijd gezellig om over de kermis te lopen
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan or rides either. Hahaha I'm afraid hahaha I'm interested to see a pop art exhibition. Made me think I might be missing a lot then.
