The one with more doors (2)

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about doors. I was more than happy to have found out that I am not the only one who is fascinated with doors and the sense of mystery that comes along with them. Some of these might not be the prettiest doors, but something about them caught my eye. Like a rusty fence, a lace curtain or the pretty cherubs living above it. My favourite is the last one: tall, darkish and handsome! Which one is yours?

  2. I like the very last one! Is that a dark blue?

When I was in Savannah last week, I keep noticing the doors, too.

  6. The difference of styles between the cherubs and the green door strikes me as the most interesting, but I do love the color of the last one.

    1. I think it's not the original door. My mom thinks the building used to house a bank, I can imagine there would have been a different door on that one.

  10. I love DOORS!! I think they are so pretty and I think I found so many amazing doors in Savannah. I love the last picture with the blue door. Whenever I think of doors I think of Notting Hill when Hugh Grant tells Julia Roberts he's just over there with the blue door.

    1. Savannah looks like it's a great place, now I have another addition to the places I'd like to visit. And I love Notting Hill, such a long time since I've seen that one.

  11. My favourite is the second one. The decoration on top is so unusual! Thanks to you Marieken, I'll never look at doors the same way again! xx

  12. I like the dark wooden one, with the arch on top--it looks solid and respectable and vintage--sort of like me! ;-)

  13. the last blue one reminds me of dublin. I ike the modern one with the very rocco/renaisance cherubs above. so unexpected. my favorite, I'll have to go with the stained wood door with the glass partitions above. pretty.

  17. You do have some ornate doors over there! My favorite is the sixth one down. As I'm seeing this I'm realizing that we really need to paint our front door. The sun has completely changed the color from hunter green to a weird shade of blue.
