For this monday I thought it might be fun to do another music-post. I love discovering new artists and songs, and these are the songs that I've been listening to most the last couple of days. Credit for the Austra song goes to Melissa from Hilltop Hausfrau. This isn't the first time she introduced me to some fine tunes. The video may be a bid odd, but you can't judge a book by its cover, or a song by its video, right? Have you find any treasures, music wise? I'd love to hear what you've been listening to in the comments below!
James Bay - Hold back the River
Bastille vs Haim - Bite Down
Ryn Weaver - OctoHate
Austra - Hurt me now
Sam Smith - Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Thanks for introducing us to new music, Marieken!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I can't see the videos :-/
As far as my personal taste goes, I'm an oldies but goodies kind of a girl :)
No idea why it's not working. For me it's working both at home and at work.
DeleteThanks for sharing the music. I suppose it's time to start listening to some Christmas tunes.
ReplyDeleteI created a Christmas playlist last weekend and have been kind of listening to it none stop. I hope I won't get bored with them before Christmas has even begun!
DeleteThese artists are so talented! I love the voices of James Bay and Ryn Weaver. I always love some Sam Smith!
ReplyDeleteSo do I, happy he has a Christmas song out now too, so I can even listen to him during the holidays :-)
DeleteLove your music posts! I'd never listened to Ryn or James before...thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh Sam Smith is perfection...he's going to be performing here in Vancouver in the New Year but is going to be at a huge venue...I imagine he would sparkle in a smaller venue...
Will you go and see him? I think the smaller venues are always better. But maybe that's also because I don't like big crowds. And if you have any more music discoveries, keep them coming my way!
DeleteI hadn't heard a few of them. thanks for sharing.. always love Sam Smith
ReplyDeleteYou always post such a great selection. Loving that Ryn Weaver one a lot!
