The one with some tuesday tunes

Today I wanted to share some songs I've discovered recently. I've been catching up on Grey's Anatomy, which I don't just love as television series, but it's also one of my favourite sources for new songs and artists. The third and fourth song have been featured on the show. Have you discoved any songs lately that are shareworthy? Please feel free to share your favourites in the commentsection below.

Blaudzun - _hey now

Nilufer Yanya - Baby luv

Sleeping at Last - West

Charles Perry - Apologize

Kendrick Lamar & SZA - All the stars

The one with some music

Ray LaMontagne - Part two - in my own way

Leo Stannard - Please don't

P!nk - Stay with me

James Blake - Waves know shores

Michael Kiwanuka - Cold little heart

The last one is the opening theme for Big Little Lies. After making a reservation for this series' DVD box at our local library, i finally gotten my hands on it last saturday. I've bingewatched it last week, and loved everything about it. The leading ladies were perfectly cast (why isn't Reese Witherspoon getting any older, what's her secret?), it's something different from any other show that's on right now. I don't do any review posts, but this is definitely a show I can recommend. Have you watched the show? Any music you've digging right now? Love to hear from you!

The one with some music for your monday

OWS - Waterline

Bleachers & Sia - Like a river runs

Nate Ruess & Beck - What this world is coming to

Last weekend I had a little Call the Midwife marathon, and one of the episodes had this wonderfully, cheery song in it. Normally I am not a big fan of period dramas, but this one really got me hooked! I have one more episode left, which probably will be watched after work, and I hope Netflix will have the fourth season available soon. Are you a fan of the English nuns and nurses?

Alma Cogan - Never do a tango with an eskimo

The one with some tunes for your tuesday

How was your weekend? Mine was a busy one, working on saturday morning, lunch with mom in the afternoon and preparing for the market I wrote about last friday. It was all I could have hoped for, I had a blast! More about that, and some pictures from the booth will probably appear later here this week. You might have seen a pic floating around on Instagram on sunday.
But for today I wanted to share some tunes that I've been listening to a lot lately. Except for these video's down below, Taylor Swift's new video has been playing (almost) non stop. Have you made any new discoveries, music-wise?

Ayer - In my headphones

Noah Gundersen - David

Kat Dahlia - Crazy

The one with a dance, a book and a lighthouse

This is what I've been listening to lately. Have you made any discoveries lately, musicwise? I would love to hear all about it if you did. Especially more upbeat and maybe summery, happy songs. Some might say the music I've been listening to right now might be a bit depressing or saddish. They sure do match the grey and cold weather we're having over here at the moment.

Causes - Teach me how to dance

Gavin James - the Book of love

Mister and Mississippi - Meet me at the lighthouse

The one with some music for your monday

For this monday I thought it might be fun to do another music-post. I love discovering new artists and songs, and these are the songs that I've been listening to most the last couple of days. Credit for the Austra song goes to Melissa from Hilltop Hausfrau. This isn't the first time she introduced me to some fine tunes. The video may be a bid odd, but you can't judge a book by its cover, or a song by its video, right? Have you find any treasures, music wise? I'd love to hear what you've been listening to in the comments below!

James Bay - Hold back the River

Bastille vs Haim - Bite Down

 Ryn Weaver - OctoHate

Austra - Hurt me now

Sam Smith - Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas

The one with mister Rice, pumpkins and my favourite sunday sweater

I think I could spend all winter inside, curled up on the couch, with a stash of books, cups of tea, cookies and Damien Rice's new album. Gorgeous song!

Last weekend I heard Tonight, Tonight, by the Smashing Pumpkins on the radio. It's one of my favourite songs of all time, and I wondered what the Pumpkins have been up to lately. I discovered a new song was released last month.

Over at Man Repeller, Jake Isaacs' voice is being described as 'your favourite sunday sweater'. Wondering what my favourite sunday sweater sounds like, I give it a listen. And I like what it sounds like.

Do you like discovering new music? Do you have a go to place to find new tunes? I'd love to know if you have any recommendations.
