The one with tulle

How I found this video, I don't know. But it's most probably the result of some procrastinating... It's a 5 minute interview with artist Benjamin Shine. I've only known tulle from the tutu's, but apparently it can be turned into amazing pieces of art too, I've never seen anything like it! I love these kinds of videos, so if you know of other short films about artists (or maybe you have your own video) and their works, please feel free to share a link in the comment section below. Enjoy!

  2. His work is AMAZING! What a unique medium he thought to work with. I love the softness the tulle gives the artwork.

  5. That's truly amazing! The tulle softens the image. Lovely! p.s. I'd be afraid to use my iron on tulle ;-)

  6. Wow that is amazing! I especially love the dancers' figures emerging from a mass of wispy tool...it almost looks like a special effect in a movie. It's a nice reminder that we can make beautiful things out of the simplest materials. :)

  7. Isn't it funny how we can stumble upon some really great videos (and other things) by complete accident?

I wanted to stop by and say thank you for keeping in touch via Instagram. I've been away from the blogging world almost all of 2016, but I've been able to see your IG posts almost daily! I love it, and so since my internet connection is back (and a little better than before), I wanted to stop by your lovely blog and say hello!
