The one at 'de Honig fabriek'

The first weekend of april my friend R. came over for a visit. She lives in the northern part of the Netherlands. It's about 2,5 hours away, so we don't see eachother very often. That day, it was a beautiful and sunny spring day, so we had a little walk. Destination: 'de Honig fabriek'. It's an old factory that made soups, but nowadays it serves as a cultural hotspot, with restaurants, a brewery, an art gallery and it houses lots of artists and small companies. In case you like to see more about this place, I blogged about it before over here. Today I'm sharing some street art over at the factory, and some that we spotted on our way there.

  1. The street art is amazing! I always find old factory buildings charming. It's great that it now has an art gallery in it! Cool pic of you and your friend :)

    1. I love it when they give old buildings a new purpose. There are also some churches throughout the Netherlands that function as a bookstore now.

  3. I love the moon as a balloon mural! There's a fun street art area in Honolulu we visit occasionally because there's a super delicious bakery/sandwich shop there.
