A rocket in the streets
Receiving these from a friend
Taken from the library, the one with the palmtree is already finished.
It brought me to tears a couple of times. The English title is
'the last brother' and I can highly recommend it!
If someone makes me soup, I'm a happy camper

I've never made or even had bean soup before, I should search for a good recipe to make for the new year.
DeleteLove this weeks things! I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that stained glass window! I raised a barn owl at the clinic where I used to work and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. What a wonderful friend to get you such beautiful flowers. It looks like it was a great week for you.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention how much I love the widow?
Yes you did :-)
DeleteHi Marieken! Lovely photos, you have excellent photography skills.
ReplyDeleteI want to look for the book too. Hopefully there is one here in my place. Stained glass never fail to mesmerise me and a bowl of soup is enough energiser for me too.
Thanks for your kind words Diane!
DeleteThis is an exceptionally cool collection! I feel like you've got such neat contrasts between the modern books and the traditional stained glass, the spring flowers and the hearty soup . . . .
ReplyDeleteI like spring flowers in winter, it makes me thing spring is on it's way :-)
DeleteThe stained glass window with owls is really pretty! I've never heard of that book - I'll have to check it out when I have the time!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good one! Let me know if you like it (if you're able to find it ofcourse!)
