The theme: Christmas
The challenge: up to 4 materials only
What you'll need:
- paper strips, I used strips of semi transparant paper, that are 30 x 2,5 cm (around 12 x 1 inch)
- twine
- needle
- thread
What you'll need to do:
These are super easy to make, I think the pictures don't need any explanation.
I think they needles doesn't count as one of the four materials, so I guess I was allowed to make these too. Before cutting the paper up in strips, I made lines with a ruler, added some neon washi tape, and wrote some titles of Christmas songs on the paper. I also experimented a bit with different sizes.

Have you been doing holiday crafting this year? If you blogged about it, feel free to leave a link in the comments, I would love to see your creations!
Oooh, those are so cute! I sadly haven't had much time to craft this holiday season, but I did manage to make a "Let It Snow" sign for our bookshelf.

DeleteThese ornaments turned our really well, Marieken:) They're so cute, and another plus is that they're easy to make (well, for you, but probably not for me:P)

Thank you :-)
DeleteThis is a cool idea--so customizable! Like others, the one with the words especially appeals to me. The only crafting going on here has been my husband's pomanders--but they're worth another mention! http://lovethosehandsathome.wordpress.com/2013/12/10/christmas-senses-the-smell-of-oranges-and-cloves/
ReplyDeleteI bet they must smell really good, I should really try them!
DeleteThese are so pretty! They'd make lovely baubles, and the neon one is especially fun, it's so colourful :) I'm so behind on holiday crafting, I think I'm going to have to be a bit less ambitious! xx
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to do loads of christmas crafting this year, but for some sort of reason time has been going by too fast!
DeleteThanks Mia, yours looks great too!
ReplyDeleteI participated this year for a Christmas ornament swap with my team. My pair was a girl from Australia, which I was so exited to find out then she is Polish! Well, this was fantastic because that remind me a time when I was in school and I had a pan-pall from Poland. I made a Christmas ornament for her and I hope to share the pictures in my blog soon:)
ReplyDeleteI love your ornament Marieken so much, Thank you for inspiration!
I'd love to see the one you made! A ornament swap sounds like fun :-)
DeleteI love this! The transparent paper is cool. Great how to!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I liked your wreath :-)
DeleteThey are beautiful!!! I have to find some time this week to try making them. LOVE! Muah, darling.
ReplyDeleteFun ornaments! I love the neon washi tape ones!
ReplyDeleteI am currently in a I-like-neon-everything-phase :-)
DeleteI usually cannot bring myself to work with paper (apart from printing my photos, of course) but when winter comes I'm all about it! I make paper stars (which you've already seen), paper snowflakes, garlands... And these ornaments look lovely. I think I will give them a go :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see them if you decide to make them, your garland was a fab idea that I might try :-)
DeleteCute and I love the one with the personal notes :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays Marieken!
