came across this guy on my way....
....to a high tea party with friends
when life gives you lemons, you make popsicles. More about that next week.
in our garden
trying to squeeze in some reading. Wish I had more time for that
(or that I was a faster reader)
How has your week been so far? New projects in the works? Reading something good? Or something going on in your kitchen? Any lemons popped up? Or was it all rainbows and unicorns this week? Any plans for the weekend? Well, those are a lot of questions for a friday! I'm off, trying to get some work done....
High tea party sounds cool:)
ReplyDeleteNothing special planned this weekend. Just getting ready for travel plans next week:)
Sounds like the perfect weekend!
DeleteYou're reading To Kill A Mockingbird! Excellent choice. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is. I like it very much so far.
DeleteLooks like a fun week :)
ReplyDeleteLove the street art!
I've had a few lemons show up this week (my laser had a few troubles!), but luckily some rainbows showed up after that :)
It can be such a horrible thing when machines don't do what you want them to do. Glad to hear there were rainbows too :-)
DeleteGreat pictures and the one with the butterfly is just magnificent.
ReplyDeleteYour week sounds like fun. We had a pretty amazing weekend with lots of walks and 22 C in the middle of winter
I would settle for temperatures like that in winter!
DeleteThat graffiti is amazing! I hope you enjoyed your high tea :)
ReplyDeleteI had the usual ups and downs this week, but looking forward to crafting this weekend!
Crafting can make things a lot better! Curious about what your up to :-)
DeleteLovely post and amazingly with just few sentences you be able to add every description just right! I'm allergic to oranges, but I can have lemons in abundance so I'm adding them in every meal... go figure:) have a lovely weekend my friend!
ReplyDeleteLemons can add so much flavour to lots of dishes. I've never heard of an orange allergy before.
DeleteOh my gosh, that photo of the butterfly is really lovely. Very well-timed photograph! XX
ReplyDeleteWe've had a handful of metaphorical lemons dealing with post-wedding things, but life's been otherwise okay. That mural is really impressive!
ReplyDeleteI love that graffiti! and my week has been....NUTZ. busy with VBS, back spasms, and canning. I need some tea. lol

The butterfly in the garden is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think these "things I liked" posts are my favorites! You always manage to keep them fresh. The two photos, of lemon and butterfly, just say "summer" to me! And I'm glad someone else tipped me off that the book was "To Kill A Mockingbird"!
