Starting this edition of 'things I liked' with three pictures of signs that summer is really on its way now! I can not wait to get rid of my winter coat for a while, and to enjoy reading and dinners on my balcony. Has the sun shown its face in your corner of the world? Are you looking forward to warmer weather? And what is it about summer that you are looking forward to most?

One of my favourite things about summer
Blue skies
New stamps, the third one on the left is a bridge in my hometown :-)
Enjoying a cherry beer and waiting for good food with my ex-roomie N.
Happy weekend! xo
Lovely collection of summery scenes! I LOVE Bellevue Kriek! If you are ever in Vancouver, there's a great Belgian restaurant downtown called Chambar - BK is to be had there ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's very warm and sunny here; the kids are in early summer vacation mode even though their teachers are desperate to get some end-of-year assessments done! I'm most looking forward to grilling dinners this summer...am really done with soups and stews!
I don't like normal beer, but I do like the fruity ones. If you like Bellevue, and you can get your hands on Liefmans Kriek, you should give it a go, I think you will like that too!
DeleteI agree what the sign says in the first picture :) We've had a few sunny days, but it still doesn't feel like proper summer. Those stamps are great!
ReplyDeleteSo do I, I have a whole stack of shorts that can not wait to be worn!
DeleteBeautiful photos! It is starting to get warm and sunny for us too. I most look forward to walking around barefoot! Cherry beer? That sounds delicious. We just got some watermelon beer which we love.
ReplyDeleteWatermelon beer? Never heard of that before, I need to go and see if I can get that over here!
DeleteAhhhhh--summer! We're still having spring here but that's okay because we know summer will come next! Those strawberries look perfect.
ReplyDeleteWell it (almost) always like summer here in Singapore! But I enjoy evening breeze and rainy days that a part of the warmer weather here! Strawberries....yum!
ReplyDeleteBut it sure will be much warmer here as well in June/July.
Huge yay for strawberries!! I've just eaten a few fresh raspberries... so good. I love fresh fruit in summer! X
ReplyDeleteEverything about this post is so happy and cheery! As for the warm weather, we always have too much here in the tropical island :) If only I could share some for you.
ReplyDeleteLove all those amazing stamps:) Have a sunny day, love.
