The one with (even) more doors

Doors are among my favorite subjects for photo-taking. After my last door post, I thought that needed to be the last one, because I can imagine not everyone is a door aficionado like me. But after the post about our day in Zwolle, I noticed that there are more of you who like them (or you guys were being polite). So here it is, another post solely dedicated to doors.
I thought it might be a fun idea, to make another post, with your doors in the spotlight! If you're up for it, you can drop me a line at yourinvisiblecrown@gmail.com including a photo of your door and a link to your blog (if you have one). Let's say somewhere before the end of this month? I'll post your doors (include your link) in the beginning of june. It doesn't have to be a good one, I think if there's an award for most horrific looking door, mine would certainly be a nominee.

Haven't seen enough doors? More doors here, here, and here.

  1. I really like doors too!! I definitely feel they stand out more than other places on a home. I think my favorite door in this collection is the blue door with the white trimmings. That one is very pretty.

    1. That's one of my favourites too, if I didn't know better, I'd think it would be on a dreamy, sunny island.

  2. You can never show me too many pictures of doors! Keep these coming. :-)

My favorite is probably the cobalt blue with the white ironwork over the windows.

  3. I love your door posts, Marieken:) To me, doors are like the eyes of the house, you know? If we had a nice one, I'd be submitting my pic. :D

  7. I actually do like doors, as long as they are pretty and ornate like the ones you post here. Around here, they are pretty boring! I also love to view and photograph other old things like buildings, barns, and staircases.

    1. I noticed a gorgeous looking (red) barn over at your blog. We don't have any of those over here.

  12. Ah I love doors. Mine is an awful, super boring, dark interior-apartment door and it didn't even look better when I made a holiday wreath! Perhaps i'll stumble upon a really wonderful door to photograph. I was actually just looking up pink doors for a post I'm doing for work--so fun.

    1. Oh, pink doors sound wonderful (but isn't anything that's pink coloured?), I think I haven't discovered any pink ones over here.
